Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarfraz, with five co-authors from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, India, and Oman, was granted a patent titled “Role of Indian Banking in Economic Development: System and Method Thereof” by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. This is the first patent awarded to the Faculty of Business at Sohar University.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Memon received the Best Presenter Award at the 2024 International Conference on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS 2024), organized by Sunway University, Malaysia. The award was presented by Prof. Marko Sarstedt, a top 1% researcher and co-developer of SmartPLS software.

At ASERD 2024 (Oman and India), Dr. Sarfraz Javed’s paper, “The Role of Organizational Innovation and Continuous Improvement in Promoting Long-Term Sustainability in Manufacturing Under Industry 4.0,” won the Excellent Paper Award. [SDG-3]
