Dr. Saeid Hosseini is honored to support WISE 2025 as a Program Committee member and AICCSA 2025 as PhD Symposium Chair. WISE 2025 will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, from 15–17 December 2025.

Dr. Saeid Hosseini and Professor Xue Li have been recognized by the Financial Review as two of Australia’s most influential figures in Big Data.

The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT) at Sohar University recently conducted a collaborative workshop with representatives from the University of Queensland, Australia. The session focused on exploring opportunities for joint research collaborations, sharing knowledge on current projects, and discussing possibilities for joint grant applications and research development initiatives.

Researchers and students from the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT) participated in several research projects showcased during the GCC Police Day Exhibition, organized by the Ministry. The event was attended by numerous officials and researchers. Sohar University representatives delivered outstanding presentations and shared valuable insights during the exhibition.
