Connecting Communities

With the changing dynamics of communities and community values, the need is rising for research related to community development, community exchange, intercultural communication, and community engagement and exclusion. The Connecting Communities research theme is by far the largest within the university as it brings together researchers from five different faculties and centres. These researchers focus on topics within the general domain of humanities, such as education, linguistics, law, inter-linguistic and inter-communal communication. Research topics equally cover instances of interaction between humanities and other fields of endeavour. This includes for instance technology-driven implementations for languages and language communication and the enhanced investigation of human factors in business models.
