Sohar University Environment Team Presents Innovative Agricultural Project to Ministry of Agriculture

On March 10, 2025, the Environment research team from Sohar University – Prof. Rajamohan Natarajan, Reem Al Dhuhori, and Al Zahra Al Mamari – presented their project, “Agricultural Solid Waste Recycle to Promote Circular Economy in Oman,” to the Director of Agriculture, Al Batinah. The project showcased AI applications in smart agriculture and addressed SDGs 6, 7, 10, and 13. The workshop, organized by the Director of Agriculture, Al Batinah, was attended by ministry officials, farmers, engineers, and other members from the community of Al Batinah, Oman.
