On March 17, 2024, Professor Rajamohan Natarajan and Associate Professor Dr. Wadhah Tawfeeq, Environment theme researchers, visited Industrial Technologies and Energy LLC in Sohar, Oman. During the visit, they discussed potential opportunities for collaboration, staff consultancy, and the exchange of expertise.

Professor Wan Hamidon Wan Badaruzzaman presented a keynote address titled “2025 Future-Ready Curriculum: Industry 5.0 and Beyond” at the International Conference on Engineering and Built Environment Education, held in Malaysia on 19–20 May 2025. Following this, Associate Professor Dr. Clement Karu delivered a research lecture entitled “Industry 5.0” on 22 June 2025.
